Secondary framing is used for flooring, ceilings, and non-lead-bearing in-fill structure within the load-bearing Primary framing system and is used to mount and support exterior and interior paneling, partitions, and cladding. Based on 50mm series standard using profiles in 1x1, 1x2, 1x3, and 1x4 slots.

Wall framing is based on only vertical profile studs with a 1m on-edge spacing. Floor system employs a grid with 1x2, 1x3, 1x4 (depending on span) joists and 1x1 or 1x2 spacers. Ceiling system employs a light grid of 1x1 framing with 1x1 tie studs to roof beams, where not using roof beams alone. Different configurations of Secondary framing are employed depending on choice of panel attachment scheme and choice of Primary framing.
