Moldings are rarely used with the Utilihab system but can be simply accommodated based on solid materials. A simple thin alloy strip, with gaps where necessary to fit around frame members is attached to the edge of the molding strip and press-fit between any flush corner seam. The moldings may be fashioned with slightly greater than a 45 degree corner angle so that some compression is created relative to the plane of the alloy strip, helping keep the molding strip pressed tightly against their surfaces. This simple approach works for all relatively light molding forms, on floor, ceiling, and wall edges.
